Description
In the spring, the Milky Way almost parallels Mesa Arch - around 3 am on April 15. Low level lights were placed under the arch during a 20-second exposure at ISO 6400. Mesa Arch sits on the edge of a butte with a 600-foot drop below. It has become one of the most sought-after sunrise locations in the world for serious photographers. There is rarely less than around 20 shutterbugs there and sometimes as many as 200 at sunrise.
