Artist's Description

Hunt's Mesa rises 1,000 feet above the south side of Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. The 91,696 acres of the park extends into both Arizona and Utah. The incredible stone monuments in the park are the quintessential icons of the desert southwest. This view from the mesa was taken at sunrise as a storm cleared resulting in amazing rich and vivid colors.
